The Epagnuel Breton is a very gentle breed that adores its master. A gentle hand of correction is all it takes to redirect behavior. A harsh word or harsh discipline will break the spirit of this dog and will hinder its performance in the field.
Because it is a working dog it requires room to run. When it is not in the field or given the opportunity to run it becomes bored and boredom can be detrimental to a household and its contents.
Finally because this breed bonds so strongly with its owners, it does not rehome well. Proper puppy placement is a priority to our Kennel.
